Every positive change counts. Make it into a habit!

There are many people who can create positive changes and improve conditions in their environment but they don’t do it. Ask yourself: “what could I have done today to create a positive change and improve conditions?” You will be surprised. There are scores of things that you could have done!

But neglecting these opportunities for positive changes because “these are so small” or “not really a big deal”, or because someone invalidated us last time we proudly spoke about these positive changes, or we ourselves invalidated their value, permits the deterioration, the degradation, and allows all that we disagree with or dislike to continue. Next time we see it and feel the urge to criticize it, to condemn or complain about it, we may as well remind ourselves that we did not do something about it.

If nobody does something about it, it will not change. If someone(s) do something about it, it will change. It starts with each one of us personally. The problem is that most people wait someone else to do something about it. So, each time we could create a positive change and we don’t, we become partners in the popular club “someone else will fix it”, or the other also very known club “it is not my job”.

On the other hand, by creating positive changes, small or large, we generate a ripple effect. We do the first step and open the way for improvement and positiveness to enter. The least that will happen is that we will feel better and less upset about it.

I caught myself getting a bit into justifying and not creating all the positive changes I know that I am capable of and in spotting it I decided to change it at once. As part of this decision I wanted to share this video and remind you (knowing that for some people it may be a valuable reminder and therefore, it will create a little positive change).

So, let’s not let any opportunity go by. Every time you see that there is a positive change that you can create, just do it! And be proud of it! Every positive change you create, counts!

Let’s be part of the Positive Change Forum not the “someone else will do it” club or the “it is not my job” club.
